So Brooklyn likes animals, everyone knows that. She likes monkeys and dogs A LOT. So being the lucky girl she is, She got the package in the mail from her grandpa Cottriel. Within the package was a little gift for brooklyn, inside the packaging was a little wooden monkey. My dad told me the history of the monkey. He got it when he was in his early teens, he thinks, and has had it ever since. I thought it was very thoughtful to give Brooklyn such a special toy. She doesn't to play with it every day, because she is in the stage when she is rough and doesn't understand to be gentle and careful. So she gets to play with it when we watch her. But i think in the years to come she will be thankful and glad for such something to share with her grandpa..
