Basketball hoop

We moved into a house that came with a basketball hoop, which was a bonus for our family since we have a man who loves to play and watch basketball.  There are many nights on the weekend when Eric and Brooklyn will go out side and shoot some hoops.  Eric and I have played horse a couple of times and boy do i get my butt kicked.   

Bentley will be joining us pretty soon on the court, but until then he gets to be the cheerleader on the side. 

A week or so ago, Eric and I decided to have a friendly game of  " Who is better regarding sports" I grew up playing soccer and swimming and have been running a lot recently to lose some baby weight.  So i was pretty sure i could kick his butt in a quick sprint.  So after a game of HORSE that i totally was slaughtered in, we put on some shorts and running shoes and hit the street.  I was so determined to leave him in the dust. So Brooklyn was our announcer and started the race.  Sure enough Eric won!  I was laughing so hard near the end when i realized he was ahead of me and had not ran in about a year.  I called it quits, since we didn't have a swimming pool to compete in. Cause i know for sure i would win that one. :) So we learned that day that Eric is our main athlete in the house.  Maybe after practice Brooklyn will be right up there with him.

She played basketball with him now, Soccer with me in the back yard and goes on small jogs and sprints with me during the week.  Our little soon to be athlete.
