Visit to the Salt Lake City Temple

So thanks to Pinterest i found a cute scavenger hunt printable of Temple square.  I showed Brooklyn the hunt and she was excited for it.  I sat down and explained to her more about the temple, why we have it, and how its important.  That day she told me that she was so excited to see Jesus and go in the temple.  Explaining to a 3 year old why she can't see Jesus and go inside the temple was a little challenging.  I did my best and i assume she understood it for the most part.  She didn't ask again.  We did see 3 wedding parties and she was in love with the wedding dresses.  She already has picked her husband and now her temple.
We went inside all the visitor centers, temple square and the conference center.  The kids behaved extremely well.  It was such a nice peaceful experience.

Brooklyn recognized many of the pictures they have hanging on the walls in the visitor centers.  Pictures of Christ, and Noah's Ark, and Baby Jesus.
This photo is so dear to my heart.  Such a remarkable temple and having my two children next to it, being calm, and loving.  Making you a happy parents.

Recently, Brooklyn has been a stinker regarding saying prayers.  She knows how to say them, but she passes very time.  So last night when we were climbing into bed, she started praying and she saw me and said  " ssshhh, i'm praying".  So i sat down with her and listened to her prayer.  It was so sweet hearing her pray and reminding her of our wonderful day at the temple and all the things we saw.   She told me she wanted to go back to the temple tomorrow with daddy.

I am glad my children are able to get a small gimps of the gospel and how it is so important to our family.
