Maya

We have been on a hunt to find the right dog for our family.  We wanted one that was already house trained, because i can not have two babies in this house.  Also we wanted a very loving dog that could play with the kids and feel safe around them.  We have been on the hunt for a few months now and happen to stumble upon Maya.

Her previous owner had her since she was a baby.  The only reason why she had to let Maya go was because her baby started to get allergies towards the dog.  The previous owner was in tears giving her up and was screening everyone that wanted to take her home.  We were lucky enough to go see her and the previous owner liked that we were semi-dog experienced and we had kids for her to play with.  So we took her home, with a kennel and some toys.

 We got her on June 6th, and she had been such a good girl.  She sleeps in her kennel and loves, i mean LOVES the outdoors; especially our duck next door. She loves to be right where we are.  She cuddles and loves to get her stomach rubbed.  she will give you kisses until you tell her to stop.  Bentley is doing awesome with her also.  He will put his hand out to touch her and he doesn't cry when he is being licked.(kissed)   Brooklyn liked to play hide and go seek with her and to throw her toys around for her to catch them.

We took her to some dog parks and that girl is in love.  She just played and ran and ran and played the whole time.  After reading more about the husky breed, they are such lovable dogs.  They just want to please their master and everyone else.  I think she is a good fit for our family.  Lets bring on the hikes and camping!

She does need to work on coming when told.  But hey no one is perfect.
