A boy....oh boy!

Looking at this picture gives me butterflies knowing i will meet him in a few days!  I am so excited to what Heavenly Father has saved for us to raise.    It still doesn't seem real, the fact that i am pregnant and we are going to be holding our son in a couple days.  It really is a miracle how, the whole thing.  Creating a child, having it grow inside of you and then the instant love you have for this little person.  It keeps me in amazement.
To be honest i am a little scared, scared cause i have never raised boys or been around boys that were babies.  Yes, i watched a dozen or so infant boys for baby sitting and what not.  But not a boy 24 hours 7 days a week.  I had all sisters, all nieces i lived with, and our own little girl.. now we are hit with a boy.  Where is the user manual! I know Eric will be a lot of help.  But being a mother to an infant i feel so unsure of my self....again. I am sure once i hold that baby in my arms that my hesitation will diminish, and i will be left with a flood of memories of Brooklyn as a baby.
I am hoping this delivery, if i make it to Thursday, will be a lot more simple them Brooklyn was.  I hope for speed to be on our side along with a  healthy child who wants to come out.  I hope for skin to skin contact immediately after delivery.  And a child who is hungry and will let mother nature take its course.  I feel like i will be a lot less stressed out this delivery, since i have done it before and i know what to expect.
I am looking forward to Thursday no doubt, but i am also making sure Brooklyn gets plenty of mommy and me time before then.  Lots of Candy land, coloring, play dough, painting, movies with hot cocoa and cuddling.

you ARE a wonderful mommy and this is one lucky little boy to be coming to your home. Everything will be fine....just try to relax and enjoy everything that is in store for you. Remember, I am only a phone call away too. Love you.
