So the story behind the video below....
Brooklyn is 2 1/2 and most 2 1/2 year olds need a nap during the day, Brooklyn on the other hand doesn't think so and she will let you know how she feels about that...
For example: about a week or so ago Brooklyn went down for nap like usual, and i was cleaning or some thing. I begin to hear "thump" noises, i walk over to Brooklyn's room and realize, she is throwing toys at the door. She has done this in the past but never to this point. I open the door and there are a ton of toys behind the door, it was a little difficult opening the door. I explain to her how it is naughty to throw your toys...yada yada...go back in bed and take a nap....
....a few bunch of minutes later.....
. . . a few more reminders to Brooklyn to not throw toys aymore. . .
Same sound, so i go back in the room and not only are all her toys on the floor along with tubs, but her book case is empties as well and some books are torn apart...At this point i have no more patients..I shut the door, say a quick pray and head back into her room. I gather all of her toys and books and take them out of her room and didn't say a word to her.
She eventually took a small nap, and woke up with no toys!
She was without toys for about 2 days.
"cruel and unusually punishment"...i think so!
We thought she learned.. . .
until...it happened again. .
I left her in the room to clean up her toys her self and she was not allowed to come out till they were picked up. She got some help from mommy, but eventually did it.
