First snow of the season

 Holy Moley! Did we get snow or what.  It was reported we received around  8 1/2 inches.  It was so much fun! EVERYTHING was covered and was deep.  

 As soon as we got a break in the snow, we put on some of our snow stuff and played and played.  Brooklyn and Mommy build a snow man.. ( no picture) and Daddy took Brooklyn on a little ride. Each time she fell out, but still wanted more. 

 Maya loved the snow.  She would jump and run back and forth.  Brooklyn got a real hoot out of watching her. 

 Eric played and threw snow all over Maya, which she loved. 

 And of course you can't have snow unless you decide to eat some. 

Bentley was sleeping during this time.  But i did dress him up and take him out for a ltitle bit.  He wasn't the happiest with the cold weather but he did love to stare at it from inside the house.

Snow snow and snow

 So far this winter we have has hardly any snow, and that makes mom and Brooklyn very sad.  However, first few days in March we got hit with at least 6 inches of snow.  Boy were we excited..As you can tell Eric did homeowner responsibility and shoveled the snow, while Brooklyn and I got on our snow boots and jackets and headed outdoors. 

 I was able to teach Brooklyn how to make a snow angle...she thought it was so cool. 

 As she said, " It's a mommy and baby angle" 

 We build a snow man...Let me just set the record straight.  How in the world do people make HUGE snowman.   Our snow was either too soft or something.  We made a small one that was doable.  I had such a great time with her finding rocks for his belly button and sticks for his hands and some branches with leaves for his hair.  She insisted that he had to have hair. 

 The next day more shoveling.  Brooklyn had to go outside and help daddy.  I could't help but grab the camera and document her "helping" daddy.  

You see all the snow she has in her shovel..Go girl! (wink wink)

Snow & Park

So we were finally not sick when it snowed.  We have been wanting to play in the snow all year.  We did a few times, but by the time it snowed at night it was gone by like noon. 

So since most of the snow was gone except for some on grass and our park, we headed to the park.  Brooklyn got to play in the snow and her rides.

She was loving every minute of it.

Snow, Snow, Snow!

It has been snowing all morning and day and is suppose to continue until tomorrow by 11am! Holy molly! That is going to be a lot of snow, and boy did Brooklyn want to go play in it so bad.  So we did.

She was a little nervous at first cause there was a lot of it. But she started to enjoy it!

The snow on the "grass" was up to her knees.  Seeing the look on her face when her feet when into the snow and she had to do huge steps was so funny.

This weekend if there is still snow we are going to go out.  I am excited for the snow, but hate seeing all the accidents.

A treat in the eyes of a kid

 Eric took Brooklyn out with him to take out the trash and they came back in with a huge Icicles.  Brooklyn held onto it like it was candy or something. 

She has been doing the same thing with the snow, she wants to get it and eat it.  Silly girl.
