What a sucker.

Please don't ask me why we got her that sucker... you know let me rephrase that.
Please ask Eric why he got her that sucker.
yes, i took a lick and boy was it nasty! She enjoyed it after maybe like 10 licks and Eric said it taste good as well.
She was just a little to excited to get started on it.
After about a minute or so she lost interest. I am glad that candy and some sweets aren't important.

We are a liquid family

This was our fridge a couple of weeks ago, we are not big soda drinkers but i think Eric stocked up due to the holidays. We had 2 milks, Newman lemonade, Cranberry/apple juice, diet 7up, Orange juice, sparkling cider, mt. dew, "pink" drink, another orange juice, hot cocoa creamer x3, apple juice and water. and whatever is below. Goodness.
I remember when i came home from the hospital after having brooklyn Eric had in the fridge a gallon of Chocolate milk and fruit punch for me, along with our normal stuff. we are for sure liquid drinkers.

Chicken Tacos

Okay,  so we have made these Chicken tacos, no joke, about 50 times since we found it this year.  There were a couple of months we had it every weekend..call us boring but they are good and easy and Brooklyn LOVES them so that is a huge plus. We add on Spanish rice and black beans.  yummy!

 Ingredients

  • 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 bay leaf
May need:
  • 1 (12 ounce) package corn tortillas
  • 1 head lettuce, shredded
  • 2 large tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar salsa
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

Directions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, combine chicken, lemonade, olive oil, lime juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, and bay leaf. Simmer until chicken is no longer pink, and juices run clear, 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, warm the tortillas in the oven or microwave until soft. When chicken is fully cooked, transfer to serving bowl. Place lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, salsa, and sour cream in serving dishes. Each person can create their own wrap, using their preferred ingredients.

Stuffed Bell Peppers

Eric being the Frugal dad he is. Looked at my saving sites and found this recipe and decided to make it for lunch one afternoon.  I am always in aww, when Eric can just look at a recipe and revise it and add or disregard some stuff and the food ends up coming out amazing.   i really enjoyed them. I am a fan of bell peppers since i had Brooklyn.
yummy, Great Job Baby!
Thank you.
